Love channel my favorite 'new' sailing channel.

Great content guys! I've been watching cat sailing for awhile now and your channel just popped up to me. My wife and I plan to be following in your foot steps, sailing that is, in the near future. Life is too short, enjoy it as soon as you can. I've lived near Tucson my entire life and if you need anything from here ever shipped to you I'd be more than happy to help out.

Gr8 boat seawinds. Ive owned a cat for 20 years and found it best to fly the asso as the only sail up. It stops the main sail shielding the asso. Keep enjoying the experience

I forgot how old your boat was but after about 10 to 15 years, the standing rigging needs to be changed out. Sta-Lok standing rigging is the brand that I'd go with because you can DIY and save money. Also, while your out of the water, it would be the perfect time to get a fresh bottom job and change your through hull fittings. Make sure that you keep soft wood bungs next to each through hull just in case one breaks. TruDesign and Marelon are the two best through hull fittings to get in my opinion. Brass fittings are made up of 30% zinc and the brass fittings are not solid brass which means that they have dissimilar metals like the ball valve. The ball part of the brass fitting is normally stainless which isn't good for electrolysis and they cost three times as much. Remember, knowledge keeps you cruising.

Just found your channel and loving it! My wife and I will soon be retiring and getting a catamaran to sail in the Caribbean, and your video log has Ben a great inspiration to me for just getting out there and doing it! One of my favorite things to be pedantic about, to my wife’s great amusement (sarcasm), is that it’s actually called the *intra*coastal water way, as in “within”, like intramural sports. Yes, I’m broken inside. And the child of an English professor.

Why exactly was it built ..looks like 👍 a monstrosity the Soviets would have built ..right through all the former Soviet union...some of the projects were huge ..i used to visit as a kid early 70's most lived well ..if u had a job ..especially Gov type..but still they had to work the land to put food on the tabel..standard of living..both my grandparents on my parents side..struggled..had to rely on the family for help and food etc ..their standard of living ..not so good ..😢

get rid of the apple products!!!!!!!! I cant stress this enough. back up to your own server, do not use apple or windows!!!!!!!! You can very easily have a 12V system on your boat to back up all your data so you loose nothing. I run 12v computers in my work van that network and backup to my server with no issue. Apple products you don't own your data apple does (no really).

You were in my backyard! My boat is at Ft Monroe. I retired from the USAF out of Langley. Used to keep my boat there! Too bad the timeline doesn't work, would have liked to share a beer... Planning to take my boat South this fall. Maybe we can meet up somewhere on the water.

Firstly great channel guys I really enjoy it. I couldnt help but notice when you were heading to the fuel dock you were entering a channel but you had starboard markers on the port side of the vessel. Shouldnt they be on the starboard side when entering a waterway? Could explain the shallow water, I may well be seeing things or not seeing the big picture
